Tyler and Annie grew up within miles of each other, and met when they were 11 at White Hill Middle School. They went to middle and high school together and had many close mutual friends. Although they probably had countless classes together, they never connected and were never really friends. In 12th grade, they actually sat next to each other for the whole year in Gov/Econ...and Tyler spent that year talking over Annie to the person next to her. Tyler doesn't remember this, but Annie will never let him forget it :) Fast forward to the summer after their sophomore year of college: Tyler and Annie finally caught each other's eye at a friend's party, and on a camping trip later that week. The spark was instant, and they both felt like they had known each other for years (oh wait, they had...). They then spent the summer talking on car rides out to the coast, hiking beautiful Marin trails, and trying to out-sarcasm each other. The rest, as they say, is history! What might have started as a summer romance blossomed into a lasting partnership and life together. Seven years and one Lexi later, they’re ready to tie the knot!

Tyler and Annie were in Maui on a family vacation with Annie's family in February when they got engaged! After joking about doing nothing for Valentine's Day, Tyler suggested that they go take some family pictures overlooking the beach at sunset. Tyler and Annie were taking a picture when he pointed behind them and asked, "Is that a whale breeching in the water?" As Annie turned to look, Tyler got down on one knee and pulled out the ring. After some shock and some tears, Annie said, "of course!" to spending the rest of her life with Tyler!

We are so excited to have all of favorite people share our special day with us! We will be getting married at the beautiful Sova Gardens in Sebastopol, CA. Our hope is for everyone to be together, happy, and ready to celebrate our next chapter alongside us!
