so it all begins

We met by serendipitously parking next to one another at a UCLA vs. Oregon State game tailgate. Sabrina noticed Patrick immediately, but she thought nothing of it. Patrick thought she was out of his league. They exchanged numbers, but didn't go on a date for almost three months! Patrick was busy playing Army in the desert and finally built up the courage to ask Sabrina out on a date.

Back in March, Patrick told Sabrina that he had a training exercise and wouldn't be able to come to town one weekend. In reality, he flew up to Oregon to go ring shopping with her best friends. After picking the perfect ring and flying back to LA with ring in hand, he began to plan. After months of talking about their desire to visit Crater Lake together, Patrick decided it was a perfect place to propose. After dining in the Crater Lake Lodge, they took a stroll down a path and into the woods where some of her closest friends just happened to be hiding. After finding the right spot, Patrick stopped Sabrina and looked her in the eye to tell her how much he loved her. Then he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him.
