Ashley joined Patrick's firm in April of 2016. Due to us both being workaholics (and single) we ended up spending time talking after work. Patrick would make his way over to Ashley's desk to see how her training was going and Ashley looked forward to Patrick's daily chats. Mischievous coworkers kept devising plans for us to hang out after work so we would get to know each other outside of the office. One day, Patrick asked Ashley to open the door for him after work while he carried computer servers to his new apartment across from the office. Afterwards, he said that he'd owe her dinner or drinks. She took him up on the offer and suggested going then. We spent the next few hours chatting (and Ashley laughing) at a local pub. After that we were inseparable and have been ever since!
