We're Getting Married!

Seth was planning on moving to Des Moines for a new job & Rachel was in school at Des Moines University. In modern day fashion, they swiped right on each other on the dating app, Hinge. After a few weeks of deep conversations through the phone, they knew they needed to meet. After the first date, they knew what they had was something special.

After learning about each other more & some fun dates around the Des Moines Area, Seth asked Rachel to be his girlfriend after karaoke!! Yes, that’s right. They sang “Don’t Stop Believing” as a duet, he swept Rachel off the ground, and asked her to be his girlfriend. How “High School Musical” is that?

Shortly after Thanksgiving of 2023, Seth took Rachel on a hike with their 2 crazy doggos. He was holding the ring in his hand when he took Rachel’s and got down on one knee. Rachel was crying so hard that she couldn’t even get a good look at the ring until after saying, “YES!”

We are so excited to share our special day with you. Each one of you has helped shape us into who we are today. Our marriage is something we are looking forward to immensely & we greatly appreciate each and every one of you who will be traveling to celebrate with us!
