FAQ & COVID-19 Considerations

Below are a few general wedding FAQs as well as COVID-19 FAQs. Given the situation with COVID-19, we have taken everyone's safety into consideration throughout the planning process. Below we've included both some information and requests that we ask of our guests leading up to our special day. Please note that these responses below may change leading up to our wedding date and are subject to change with the fluidity of the state of COVID-19 and restrictions. We will be keeping this updated on an on-going basis.
Question

How we and the venue are keeping our guests safe given COVID-19

Answer

- We are limiting our capacity to no more than 100 guests, this is far below both the unrestricted venue maximum (225+ people) and the restrictions currently placed on the venue by the state of New Jersey (150 people). - Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors. - We will be providing masks for our guests. - During the reception, we will be increasing the number of tables and reducing the number of people at each table. The reception room has a brand new air filtration system that allows for indoor/outdoor air circulation. We will also be able to keep two side doors open for additional ventilation. - Aurora and John will be fully vaccinated ahead of the wedding day. Given the wider qualifications for individuals to now get the COVID-19 vaccine, we can expect that the majority of our wedding guest list will be vaccinated by our wedding date as well.

Question

How you can keep yourself and other guests safe

Answer

- If you are willing and able to, please get vaccinated! If you are not comfortable or there are circumstances preventing you from receiving the COVID-19 vaccine, we understand and respect your decision and circumstances. - However, if you are not fully vaccinated ahead of the wedding (or have only received one out of two vaccination shots), we ask that you please get tested within 5 days of the event and receive a negative test result.

Question

Will there be on-site parking at the wedding?

Answer

Yes, there will be on-site valet parking.

Question

How will I get to the wedding from the hotel?

Answer

If you book a room through our hotel room block at the AC Hotel in Bridgewater, we will provide transportation both to and from the venue. Details of departure times will be given to you at the time of check-in.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please aim to arrive at 4:30pm ET, but absolutely no later than 4:45pm ET. Our ceremony is scheduled to start promptly at 5pm ET.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, the wedding is Black-Tie optional.
