As crazy as it is to think about, the couple has gone to the same school their entire lives. Nathan was always a grade above Megan, so they did not really cross each others paths much. Nathan was busy with baseball and Megan spent most of her weekends and nights after school with the dance team. It wasn't until undergrad that the couple had a class together, organic chemistry actually. Nathan was studying pre-medicine and Megan was getting the pre-reqs required for pharmacy school. When it came time for Megan to interview for pharmacy school, she had an idea: I am going to convince this Nathan guy to go to pharmacy school because its better. Well, she won. She still has a way of convincing him to do things... *cough cough* like roller coasters. Nathan and Megan both got into pharmacy school in the same class at Manchester University. Their last names were next to each other alphabetically. And since the whole class at Manchester always follows the same schedule, they were always sitting next to each other. One thing led to another and the couple started dating in the second year of pharmacy school. Each of them knows for sure that without the other, the late nights, stressful exams, and anxiety of pharmacy school would not have been possible. When one was losing the motivation, the other was right next to them to push them along. It definitely paid off because now the have both passed board exams, become licensed pharmacists, bought a house, and are getting married.

It was that summer before the last year of pharmacy school (the summer before the start of clinical rotations.) Sure the two of them had talked about wanting to get married. But everything still seemed so far away with another year of pharmacy school still ahead. In the 2 weeks before rotation started, the couple had plans to go to Florida with the brides parents. They were going to spend the first half of the week with the Brides sister in Ormand Beach and the second half of the week in Disney World. A couple of weeks before the trip Nathan told Megan that he wanted to get coordinating outfits for the family to take pictures on the beach. This seemed somewhat weird to the bride, because Nathan is NOT one for pictures. But she assumed her mom had thought of the idea and Nathan was going along with it. After all, they hadn't taken family pictures in a while. As the time got closer Nathan seemed to get more excited about the pictures and was always asking what Megan was going to wear, how she was going to do her nails, etc. But again, Megan didn't think much of it. When they arrived in Florida and got unpacked, everyone showered and got cleaned up for pictures and Megan's sister and her family came over to join. They went down to the beach and after a few pictures with the family, Nathan wanted a picture with just Megan. As she stood by him down by the water and put her hand on his chest, she noticed his heart was beating so fast out of his chest. Then it hit her what was about to happen. The next thing she knew Nathan was down on one knee and she heard the words "Megan, will you marry me." Megan was so thankful she got to spend that moment by the beach with her family. They all went out to an outdoor bar that night with a live band. Megan's dad made the lead singer make an announcement about the engagement. They spent the rest of the week in Disney World and got to celebrate their engagement in the Happiest Place on Earth.
