Q & A

Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

If you are able to RSVP as soon as you receive your invitation, that is great and super helpful. The last day to RSVP by is April 1st, 2025. If we do not receive your RSVP by that date, you will be marked as not attending. We will miss you celebrating with us, but we have to provide accurate head counts to our vendors in a timely manner. Due to this we cannot accept late RSVP’s. We hope you understand!

Question

Who is invited?

Answer

While taking into account the venue capacity and our budget, we had to prioritize those we wanted to see the most on our big day. If you received an invitation with "Your Name & Guest", please feel free to bring someone! Otherwise, please understand our limitations and refrain from bringing a plus one. The same goes for children! Although we love your littles, please be mindful of who the invitation is addressed to. Due to venue limitations, please only bring children that are listed on the invitation. We hope you can enjoy some adult time with us!

Question

Is there transportation available?

Answer

There is no Uber or similar service in the area. Please be prepared to drive yourself to and from the wedding.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 3pm. We recommend you arrive at least 20-30 mins early. If you are late and the ceremony has started, please wait in the back until the ceremony has finished and then join us at the reception.

Question

Is it okay to take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony. We hired an amazing photographer to capture special moments. However, we will have a moment before we start where you will be able to take a quick photo. And you are more than welcome to bring out cameras and phones during the reception.

Question

Where should we park?

Answer

We have received permission for our guests to park at Virginia Granger Elementary School. 1118 5th Ave S, Okanogan, WA 98840 They have both north and south lots available to us and street parking in front of the school is approved. Due to limited parking at the small school - we do ask that if you can carpool, please do so. The idea is that drivers will drop their vehicle occupants off at Harlie’s grandparents and then drive down the hill 2 blocks to the school to park. From there the driver can either walk up to the wedding or one of Harlie’s cousins will be available to drive people back up. If you choose to park on the street, we ask that when parking you do not block the neighbors driveways or mailboxes. Parking infront of the house will be reserved for elders and those with disabilities.

Question

Is the wedding inside?

Answer

This is an outdoor wedding and reception. Please be prepared for cooler evening weather.

Question

Can I bring my own alcoholic beverages?

Answer

We are only providing - pop, water, coffee, beer and seltzers. If you would like something stronger you are welcome to bring it yourself!
