We met through swing dancing! We danced with each other a few times at Dallas Swing Dance Society, then one evening we each came without other friends. That allowed us to spend more time getting to know each other during the dance time, which we extended into a late-night In-N-Out trip. (Little did Aaron know that Bethany was from California, so suggesting In-N-Out was instantly attractive!) A few days later, Aaron asked Bethany on an official date to Genghis Grill, which clearly went well!

On a vacation with Bethany's family at Lake Chelan, Washington, Aaron suggested a picnic date night. We went to a spot that was special to us, had dinner, then went on the dock and swing danced (of course!). Then Aaron got down on one knee and asked Bethany to marry him! After an enthusiastic "yes!" Aaron revealed that he had hired a photographer to capture the whole thing, and take engagement photos! We went back to the cabin to celebrate with family, cheesecake, champagne, and a video chat with Bethany's college friends.
