We met in February 2017 in Oakland. Michael did a great job courting me, which led to us begin spending more and more quality time together. . I knew it was too good to be true when Michael finally met my daughter Daijha; they connected right away and have an amazing bond today. We started getting closer as a new family unit which included trips to Southern Cal. Once Daijha and I met Michael's father, grandmother and son we all connected so well. Now today we are elated to announce that our family will now be official.

In December of 2018 Dionne was planning her 40th birthday party to celebrate with family and friends. Unbenounced to her, Michael was secretly planning to propose with a group of Dionne's friends to make it happen. Dionne was so excited to enter into her 40's that she had no clue what Michael had in store. December 2018 Michael surprised Dionne and proposed in front of the guests and asked her to be his wife.
