Question

But What Do I Wear?

Answer

Wear whatever you feel the most fabulous and comfortable in. Is that a tuxedo? A prom dress? Linen slacks? A plaid shirt and jeans? Drag? There is NO wrong way to dress. Hate dresses? Don't wear one. Hate ties? Don't wear one of those either. Love tutus, bows, sequins, neon, lace, velour, or ruffles. Be our guest. If you can find a way to wear all those things at once, we will have to award you some kind of prize. Our loved ones are a diverse, creative, gorgeous bunch of people, and we want you to be your diverse, creative, gorgeous selves! And yes – you can absolutely wear white. The bride won't be!

Question

What's better - the rubber chicken or dry fish?

Answer

Neither... which is why you won't find any of that at our reception. We'll be serving up plenty of delicious and filling bites all evening. And don't worry vegan and vegetarian friends - there will be plenty of options for you too.

Question

To Mask or Not to Mask?

Answer

The answer is totally up to you and your comfort level. We are requiring that all of our guests be fully vaccinated (at least 2 doses) against Covid-19 in order to attend our wedding. We feel this is the best way to ensure that everyone can have a wonderful time while feeling healthy and safe. If mandates allow and numbers are under control, you can be free of the mask. If you feel more comfortable wearing your mask please go for it and feel encouraged to do so! We would be very grateful to folks that take a rapid test before arriving at the wedding, as an extra layer of precaution. If you would like to take a rapid test, but do not have access to one, we can provide one at the door. Our policy will be subject to change based on whatever the current Covid conditions are at the time of the wedding.

Question

Event Accessibility

Answer

IndieSpace and Indie Theater Fund are committed to providing universal access to all of our events. Please review the accessibility information below to see the steps we are taking at our wedding to honor this commitment. If you are in need of any additional accommodations, that aren't addressed below, please reach out to our programs manager, Brea Clemons, at brea@indiespace.org at least ONE WEEK prior to the event to make your request. VENUE ADA COMPLIANCE: The Chelsea Factory is an ADA compliant building and is accessible through all entrances. It is however recommended that anyone utilizing a wheelchair, scooter, or walker access the space through the East side, as there is less room on the sidewalk on the West space due to trees and planters. BATHROOMS All bathrooms at the venue are accessible and are gender neutral. ASL ASL interpretation will be provided during the ceremony by Inclusive Communication Services. SEATING Every attendee at our wedding will be provided access to a chair at anytime during both the ceremony and reception. The chairs in the space have a width of about 20 inches between the arms. From the the top of the chair to the ground is approx. 35 inches and from the top of the chair to the armrest is approx. 16 inches. HVAC & Air Filtration The West side of the space, where the reception will take place is equipped with Merv 13 air filters. We also have the ability to open several doors in the space to allow outside air flow, weather permitting.

Question

Didn't You Already Tie The Knot?

Answer
