Where do we park at the Cathedral?

Answer

Capitol Tower Parking Garage - 940 San Jacinto Blvd Low Clearance Warning: 6' 7" The Capitol Tower Garage is located just south of the Cathedral on the same block. It is accessed off San Jacinto Blvd. Grab a parking ticket, this will be validated after the ceremony when you leave. Entrance to the Cathedral from the garage is through the Donohue Center Gym located through thr Elevator on Floor #2. This is where the parking validation machine is.

What time should I arrive at St. Mary's Cathedral?

Answer

We recommend arriving at least 15-20 minutes early. This will ensure you have time to park in the garage and make your way into the Cathedral.

Where do we park at the Brodie Homestead?

Answer

The Brodie Homestead - 5211 Brodie Ln There are 48 parking spaces in the main parking lot of the Brodie Homestead. There is additional parking behind the Brodie Homestead in the shopping center. There is a pathway from the shopping center for easy accessibility.

When do I need to RSVP by?

We kindly ask that you RSVP by August 13, 2025.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding is semi-formal. We’d love for our guests to wear our theme colors—sage greens and dusty blues—but this is completely optional! Since our ceremony will take place in a cathedral, we ask that attire be respectful of this sacred space. Austin can still be warm in September, so we recommend checking the weather closer to the date and dressing comfortably.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to the size of our venue, we are only able to accommodate those listed on the invitation. If you received a plus one, their name will be included on your invite. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Yes! We love your little ones and are excited to celebrate with them. Our church has a cry room where the ceremony can be viewed if needed. If your children are invited, their names will be included on the invitation.
