We met our first semester of college, 2016, in ENC 1101 while attending Miami-Dade (Go Sharks). Kenneth sat in front of Nicole, and one day, while talking to her friend, she invited Kenneth into their conversation looking for a different perspective, telling him "I know you're probably listening in on us, what do you think?" A couple of weeks later, we realized we were also in the same CGS class, and we exchanged numbers in case the other needed any help with any classwork. When the fall semester ended, we stayed in touch as friends, but over the summer Nicole had taken a waitressing job, which usually kept her busy most Friday and Saturday nights. It wasn't until February of the following year that Nicole finally had a Saturday night off that they were finally able to go on their first date. After about a month of dating, on March 22, 2017, we made our relationship official and have been happily in love ever since. On June 21st, 2024, while on a trip to Cancun, knowing that Nicole loves taking photos, Kenneth arranged and surprised Nicole with a professional photoshoot around the resort. Towards the end of the photoshoot, he got down on one knee and asked Nicole a simple four-worded question that would change their lives forever - "Will you marry me?" So we're getting married!
