With Covid still being a major issue and the fact we have family members who are high risk we have decided to have a much smaller ceremony this year. This decision was not easy but we are doing what we think is best for the health and well being for everyone. We still want to celebrate with everyone which is why we are doing a virtual ceremony. Next year when things are calmed down we are hoping to have everyone join us to celebrate our one year anniversary. We love you all and hope you are safe.

Rob and Bailey met at the Courtyard by Marriott in Holland, Ohio! Rob was Bailey's supervisor at the front desk, where they would work long shifts together and talk about Disney, travel and pop culture. After many hints from Bailey that she was interested in Rob, she decided to ask him to go see Moana with her. Rob agreed, though he told his parents he was going to see the movie with his close friend Brandon. Flash forward to that night, Bailey had to drive to Fallen Timbers from Bowling Green and got stuck in dead stop traffic on the expressway, making her an hour late to the first date. To this day Rob still doesn't let Bailey live this down, he likes to also say Bailey was late to the second date as well but thats a story for a different time. Meanwhile at work, as their love began to grow, so did the suspicion from their coworkers and managers. Bailey's friend Bri was the first to figure it out and after a couple months of trying to hide the fact they were dating, eventually both their managers found out and Bailey had to switch hotels. Rob and Bailey did not let this conflict get them down though and their relationship continued to grow into the love they have now!

For Bailey it started off as a just a friends trip to Banff National Park, for Rob it was a well organized plan to propose to Bailey in one of the prettiest places in the world. Rob had told all of their friends that he planned on proposing to her while on the trip. The group decided the best idea was to do the proposal on their first full day in Banff. Rob had everyone wear red flannel shirts so he could match Bailey in the proposal photos, Bailey was told it was so everyone matched in group pictures. The location Rob had originally planned on proposing was Lake Louise, but when they arrived he decided to change this plan when the area was flooded with tourists, so Instead Rob decided to go to Lake Minnewanka. Bailey, not being a fan of the cold, thought the lake was pretty but in the end was grumpy and just wanted to go somewhere warm and have a beer. Their friend Matt mentioned to Rob and Bailey that they should do a couples photo, where Rob pretended it was only just a photo until he got down to one knee and proposed!
