One fine Friday night, Jess asked Cameron out to coffee. Not knowing much about her but seeing how beautiful she was, Cameron accepted. Fast forward to the coffee shop, they stood in line silently studying each other. When the barista asked what they would have, Cameron froze as there were too many choices. Jess was a regular, and she took a stab at ordering him a dark coffee. Cameron was delighted with her choice, and she was delighted that he took his coffee black. Just the way she takes hers. They took a seat on a couch in the middle of the shop and started getting to know each other. Cameron isn't much of a talker and he expected to finish his coffee and be on his way after a sensible 30 minute date. To his surprise, he looked at his phone and saw that three hours had gone by. The both decided to wrap things up and after another hour, they hugged and departed ways. Cameron went home knowing he met someone really special and spent the next few days thinking about her. Jess went back to work and couldn't help but tell her friends and all her patients about the extraordinarily rare 4 hour first date. After that day, Cameron and Jess haven't spent a single day away from each other.
