Ceremony will begin at 5:30. You are welcome to seat yourself starting around 5pm and belly up to the bar.
Our vibe is "moody fall". Dark reds and greens with pops of color, old book pages, and lots of drama.
We will have a combination of open drinks and cash bar drinks.
Yes, both the ceremony and reception will be at the Iowa Taproom in the Marquette room.
We are registered through Zola and have prepared some cash funds, gift cards, and items you can contribute to. We love experiences, you can help us celebrate our honeymoon cruise, have a dinner & movie date or contribute to our home renovation fund.
A taco buffet and assorted desserts will be available.
Weddings are not a great environment for tiny humans, and we realize that babysitters can be a luxury. We're celebrating on a budget and keeping our invite list relatively small. If we have not invited your children, but your attendance is contingent on bringing them, please reach out and talk to one of us. If you do bring your children, please supervise them throughout the evening to make sure they're behaving respectfully and not like gremlins you fed after midnight. If you have questions or concerns, please contact Katie or Brian. Be sure you RSVP for your kiddos by the RSVP deadline so we can plan ahead. Seats will be assigned.
Formal wear is preferred. This is a fancy occasion and dressing up is fun. Please avoid wearing jeans, tshirts, shorts, sneakers, or other casual/athletic wear. Pick out a fun suit and tie combo, a twirly dress to wear, or a dramatic jumpsuit.
Yes, there will be assigned seating arrangements since our ceremony will be in the same location as the reception. A seating chart will be made available at the venue and it is imperative that you RSVP for the correct guests to ensure they have a seat. No RSVP, no seat!
Please only bring those who have been included on your invitation. We are on a very tight budget and had to make hard decisions with the guest list. If you would like to adjust your RSVP, please discuss with Katie or Brian ahead of the RSVP deadline.
