Jordan was introduced to Sam at Bob Evans by their manager. As a joke, the manager introduced Jordan as his aunt. Jordan was a cook and Sam worked as a server/prep cook/host. Jordan charmed Sam by cooking her funnel cake at work and from there it is all history. They officially started dating on March 9th, 2018.

The proposal took place on a hot September afternoon. Jordan asked Sam to go on a scenic walk along the Ohio river, overlooking the Newport Levee (with Mary and Ben as moral support/anticipated photographers). Jordan guided her nervously, waiting for the perfect moment to ask the question (which took longer than anticipated). He decided to surprise her during a picture, which she was apprehensive to take. She said yes!

Jordan and Sam have had many significant milestones as a couple. From Sam becoming a step-mother to Alecia and Landon, moving in to their first apartment together, attending college and changing their careers, the couple has remained by each others' sides.
