Our Story: 25 to Life We met in Las Vegas while working in the medical field — Amanda was figuring out her next move (spoiler: she transitioned out of healthcare), and Robin (yep, that’s me) was on the road to becoming an RN. Somehow, between long shifts and shared sarcasm, we clicked. Our first date was on October 1st, 2017. Amanda had plans to go to the Route 91 music festival with friends from out of town, but she decided to take a chance on a movie date with me instead. Just 20–30 minutes before everything happened, we had driven down the Strip, completely unaware of how much that night would come to mean. Eight years later, here we are — still laughing, still in love, and still figuring it all out together. And now, in 2025, we’re making it official.
