Where is Jane's bakery and when will it be open!?

Answer

Jane's Sugar Magnolia is on 66 Main Street in Dallas! It will be open Thursday and Friday from 10am-4pm, Saturday from 9am-3pm and Sunday from 8:30-2! Stop by while you're in town! Mention that you're here for the wedding and get 15% off :)

What is the bus schedule?

Answer

Bus #1 - 3:45 PM-4:00 PM pick up (bus will loop around to the hotels) First Stop: Courtyard by Marriott Second Stop: Hampton Inn & Suites Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Third Stop: Residence Inn by Marriott Wilkes-Barre Arena Bus #2 - 3:45PM pick up First Pick Up at 3:45PM: Hilton Garden Inn Wilkes Barre Second Pick Up 4:00PM: Courtyard Marriott Bus #3 - 3:45-4:15 pick up First Pick Up 3:45PM: Mohegan Sun Pocono Second Pick Up 4:00PM: Holiday Inn Express Third Pick Up 4:15 PM: Fairfield Inn & Suites The wedding will go until 11pm and busses will be available to take guests back to your hotels. There will be a shuttle for anyone who may want to leave earlier.

Do you have hotel rooms blocked for out-of-towners?

Answer

Yes! We were able to block a few hotel rooms (please see the travel page). Otherwise, please book at any of the mentioned hotels! Booking sooner rather than later is suggested since it is a holiday weekend and there are a few big events happening as well!

Can we use cellphones in the church?

Answer

It is really important to us that everyone is present in the moment and taking everything in. We ask you to please not use your cell phones for any photos in the church! We have a really great photographer who will take care of that (and we really don't want cell phones seen in our professional photos)! So, please, do not use your cell phones! Silence them and leave them in your purse/pocket and be present in the moment with us! We will be sure to share photos with you after!

Will the reception be immediately following the mass?

Answer

No. We don't want to miss a single minute of our party and it is important to the both of us that we see each other for the first time on our wedding day in the church. Because of this, we will have a gap between for the wedding party to get photos taken and make it to the reception in time to celebrate all night long with our guests!

What's the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail, please. But we want you to feel comfortable for the reception, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose.

What are the meal options?

The following are the delicious meal options for the reception, prepared by The Westmoreland Club. Please indicate on your RSVP card which entree you'd like! Sugar-Pepper Chilean Sea Bass Served with a chardonnay pan sauce, root vegetables and jasmine rice Free-Range Chicken Served with a sweet onion cream sauce, root vegetables and roasted potatoes Roasted Beef Tenderloin Served with a caramelized shallot demi glace, root vegetables, roasted potatoes and a horseradish cream sauce on the side Ratatouille Tarte For our vegetarian friends! Deliciously tender summer vegetables with a light tomato sauce served over a puff pastry tart shell AND OF COURSE, CAKE!

What is It'll Do Farm?

Answer

It'll Do Farm is what we call our family's property in Dallas! My dad, aunt and uncle grew up there and we've made countless family memories with cousins over the years! The reason for the name dates back to when Ambrose West bought the land as a gift for his wife and when he brought her to see it for the first time he asked, "What do you think?" and she replied, "It'll Do." The Henrys bought the farm in the 1890s and it's been cherished family land ever since!
