We're getting married!

One late night after a party at Georgetown College, Jeff found himself at Caroline’s sorority house. Spotting ice cream in the kitchen, he asked if he could have some. It wasn’t exactly a grand romantic gesture, but it worked. That simple question was the beginning of something so much sweeter: the start of their forever. From the beginning, Jeff knew how to win Caroline over. For their first date, he planned the perfect combination of her two favorite things: pasta and record shopping. Honestly, he had her right there, though Caroline may have pretended to play it cool. It might've taken her a little while to start dating him (her words, not his), but Jeff’s persistence and consistency never wavered. If there were an award for patience, Jeff would’ve won it. The big turning point came when Caroline asked Jeff to be her date to a wedding (shout out Abby & Braden Wells!). The morning after, Jeff officially asked her to be his girlfriend. From that day forward, they’ve been inseparable. Together, Jeff and Caroline are the perfect balance. They can go from singing at the top of their lungs in the car, to laughing until their sides hurt with friends, to simply enjoying quiet nights in. They’ve built a love that feels like home. Fast forward, and Jeff pulled off his best surprise yet. After brunch at the Kentucky Castle, he took Caroline to the garden at the castle, where he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. Jeff had planned every detail. Both of their families were secretly there watching, and he even gathered all of their closest friends back at his house for an engagement party afterward. Caroline, who prides herself on catching surprises, never saw it coming. These days, their adventures usually involve digging through record bins, hunting down new restaurants, going to concerts, Caroline convincing Jeff to watch Gilmore Girls… and Jeff successfully converting Caroline into a Baltimore Ravens fan. (Fair trade, right?) They are each other’s person, each other’s safe place, and each other’s happiest “yes.” So what's next? The best part of their story is still ahead. On October 23, 2027, Jeff and Caroline will say “I do” surrounded by the people they love most. They can’t wait to celebrate the start of forever with family, friends, good music, and maybe even a little ice cream—because that’s how it all began.
