"Ba-ba-ba," isn't a phrase that's just thrown around. It has a different, special meaning to everyone. To Thomas, it means that life is good, everyone's smiling, and something is working. To be engaged after just seven months of dating, something must be working. We often talk about how those seven months felt more like seven years. What started as long phone calls about Despicable Me and Alan Jackson quickly turned into stargazing, shared dreams, and eventually, a ring. Without noticing it, our lives, each beautiful in their own way, began converging toward each other by some ever-present force. That force is love. It's impossible to define, but it's shown, felt, and always present. It takes the form of watching The Middle after a long day of school or work, cooking a slightly above average dinner together, afternoon naps, and walks with Millie and Charlie. As we look back on the memories that filled our hearts and intertwined our lives, we also look forward to the memories that will shape the future. Our last year of college, summer vacations ,and grad school will be more than enough to keep us busy in the next few years. After that, we'll look forward to raising a family of our own, knowing there's a house upon a hill with a wrap-around porch to enjoy an eternity together :) Ba-ba-ba!
