Washington Park (aka Wash Park) is a stunning park in Denver. Henry & Rachel live on the West side of the park. We recommend taking a walk through the park to admire the gardens, lakes, and trees, and then grabbing a bite at Perdida.
The Halcyon Hotel provides free tickets to the Botanical Gardens during your stay. We recommend grabbing a bite at Secret Garden Bar & Café and walking through Cheesman Park after your visit to the gardens.
Meow Wolf is an interactive art exhibit that is worth checking out if you're interested in an indoor activity.
Larimer Square is a historic area in lower downtown Denver (aka LoDo). There are lots of cute shops, bars, and restaurants. It is very walkable and worth checking out.
Union Station is an iconic historic monument in Denver. We recommend grabbing a drink at The Cooper Lounge inside the station. After your visit to Union Station, you can walk across the nearby bridge into the Highlands neighborhood, which has great shopping, bars, restaurants.
Chautauqua Park has tons of trails ranging from easy to hard. Located in Boulder, it is an easy drive from Denver. Royal Arch trail is Henry and Rachel's favorite.
Eldorado is a stunning state park with jaw dropping views of the canyon. There are easy and hard trails within the park. Rachel and Henry recommend Rattlesnake Gulch for those looking for a more strenuous hike. Located in Boulder, the park is a short drive from Denver.
