Question

How do I get home from the reception?

Answer

Estes Park does not have uber or lyft, so starting at 10 PM, we hired a car service to get those hitting up our open bar home safely. The company has assured us they will operate until everyone who needs a ride gets back to their hotel.

Question

What’s the weather like?

Answer

In Estes Park in late September, it tends to be warm during the day in the 60s with the sun out, and cooler nights in the 50s (think fall in the Midwest). The ceremony is outside and the reception is indoor and outdoor, with space heaters and blankets.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, and they allow overnight parking as well. We will also have a taxi service to bring people home after a night at the open bar.

Question

How do I adjust to the altitude?

Answer

Estes Park sits at about 7,500 feet above sea level. To acclimate, we recommend drinking water regularly upon arrival. Another thing to be aware of is that alcoholic beverages can have a stronger effect at this altitude. https://www.visitestespark.com/blog/post/how-to-prepare-for-an-adventure-at-altitude/
