How do I get to the venue?

Answer

Alloway Reception Centre is located at 1961 McCreary Road. You will need to proceed down McCreary Road and turn onto Sam Fabro Way to access this centre. Please be mindful that there are several buildings at FortWhyte Alive - the address provided will lead you right to the Alloway Reception Centre. We are NOT at the new Buffalo Crossing building (you may see this building first along your travels - keep going!)

Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

Yes! There is a parking lot located outside of the Alloway Reception Centre.

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Guests are asked to arrive to the venue after 5:45 p.m. due to the venue being open to the public. The ceremony will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is semi-casual as we want you to be comfortable at our wedding.

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will be hosted outside weather-permitting. We will have access to both the outdoor patio space and the reception hall for the evening.

What type of food will be served at the wedding?

Answer

Following the ceremony, we will be having a Cocktail-Style reception, serving a variety of appetizers prepared by Spruce Catering, in lieu of a formal dinner.

Will there be options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Answer

Yes! When you RSVP, please indicate if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies so we can assure we have some tasty appetizers available for you to enjoy!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

You betcha! Jagger and Atlas' bar will be open after the ceremony - enjoy a drink on behalf of the boys!

Am I allowed to bring a plus-one?

Answer

We unfortunately cannot accommodate additional guests. Due to limited capacity, we can only invite the people named on your invitation. Your invitation will be made out to "(Your Name) & (Guest Name)" if a plus one has been given to you.

Are kids invited?

Answer

While we love your kids, the venue does have limited capacity. We decided to keep our wedding ceremony and reception an adults-only (18+ years of age or older) event. Thank you for your understanding!

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We will be having an "unplugged ceremony" and ask that all phones, devices and cameras be put away and on silent/turned off during the ceremony. We have hired our lovely photographers to capture the special moments throughout the ceremony.

Will there be somewhere to share the photos I take during the reception?

Answer

Yes, we would absolutely love to see the moments you captured during our the reception! We will be providing a QR code in which you can upload any photos that you wish to share.

When is the RSVP deadline?

We are kindly asking all guests to RSVP by March 31st! If there are any concerns with this, please feel free to contact Kristin & Henry.

Is there a wedding registry?

Answer

Your love, support, and presence on our special day means the world to us. We do not have a gift registry, but if you would like to contribute, there will be a card box at the reception and we are happy to accept e-transfers as well at kris.hall07@gmail.com.
