Question

Will there be cell service or Wi-Fi?

Answer

Unfortunately cell service will be limited to none while at the venue. But there is free Wi-Fi that you can connect to at all times!

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal attire, but wear what makes you feel most comfortable and confident. We recommend bringing a jacket or wrap for the cooler evening temperatures and a change of shoes if you'd like. This is an outdoor mountain setting. Although, there is hot tubs so bring swimwear if you're lodging with us!

Can I bring a date?

Due to limited space, we can only accommodate those listed on your invitation. Please reach out if you have any questions!

Are children allowed?

Answer

While we adore your little ones, we're keeping the celebration adults-only (with the exception of those in the ceremony). There's a fast flowing river near the venue, and we'd love for you to enjoy this as a fun and relaxing date night.

What's the weather typically like?

Answer

Late September in the mountains can be slightly cooler than in town, especially in the evenings. Layers are encouraged!

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We would really appreciate if you could RSVP as soon as possible otherwise no later than July 31st using the QR code or the RSVP tab on our site. This will help us plan accordingly for the reserved lodging and final headcount for the vendors.

Will there be transportation to the venue?

Answer

We don’t currently have transportation arranged, but we’re exploring options depending on guest interest and travel needs. If you’re coming from out of town and would like support with transportation, please let us know!

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony begins promptly at 4:00 PM. We recommend arriving by 3:45 PM to park and get seated.

Where should we stay?

Answer

We've reserved all lodge rooms and campsites at Whistlin' Jacks until August. There is a link on the travel page where you can book your stay. If you would like to extend your trip, you can email Shane directly at shane@whistlinjacks.com

Is there a deadline for booking my stay at the lodge?

Answer

We have reserved all rooms and campsites at the lodge until August 1st, 2025. The link will be available for booking until this date. We recommend booking sooner than later as space may be limited at the venue.
