To get to Block Island you either take a ferry or a short flight from the mainland. We recommend taking a ferry from Point Judith as this terminal offers the most options to cross over. Puddle jump flights to Block Island depart from Westerly Airport.
If you are traveling by car, you can pay to overnight park at any of the ferry terminals -- parking is roughly $10 per day and is cash only. Parking is free at Westerly Airport. A car is not needed on the Island as there are plenty of taxis, but if you would like to take your car over, car reservations can be made on the Point Judith Ferry beginning in January by calling 866-783-7996.
If you are traveling by air, Providence Airport (T.F. Green Intl Airport) is the closest. A 40 min Uber will get you to the Point Judith Ferry or Westerly Airport.
If you are traveling by train, you can take the Amtrak to the New London station and walk across the street to the New London Ferry terminal.
