Canoe Club - Palmetto Bluff
The Canoe Club has dining with panoramic views of the May River on one side and the Palmetto Bluff inland waterway on the other. The "coastal kitchen” menu consists of local seafood, drawing ingredients and inspiration from the May River such as local shrimp, oysters and seafood prepared in a variety of ways. Canoe club partners with area farms to source fresh vegetables, beef and poultry to create dishes that honor the bounty of the Lowcountry. The Canoe Club serves dinner Friday through Tuesday evenings from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. For reservations, call 843-706-6625.
Buffalo's
The gathering place for all and a community favorite at Palmetto Bluff. The corner café sitting across from our chapel in Wilson Village, Buffalo's offers views of the May River with a menu featuring everything from market fresh salads and sandwiches, pastries and fresh spun ice cream, to wines by the glass or bottle and a variety of signature cocktails and local craft beers. Buffalo's is open Tuesday through Saturday serving breakfast and lunch from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and dinner from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Sundays from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. This spot is a little more casual than some of the other options and has a great outdoor patio!
Cole's
Coles offers regionally inspired Southern food in a casual setting with stunning marsh views. Menu highlights: spicy fried dill pickles, a patty melt that’s not to be missed, Cole’s signature fried chicken, or get a taste of what’s smoking with the Smokehouse BBQ Platter. Cole’s lounge features multiple TVs, 17 bar seats and assorted lounge seating. Enjoy a draft beer or signature Cole’s cocktail at the bar or on the screened porch overlooking the marsh. We love coming here for dinner and following it up with bowling or playing pool, shuffle board, foosball and more all next door. Open Monday-Thursday 5pm-9pm.
Octagon Porch
AKA Octagon Bar is located inside the Inn (the hotel at Palmetto Bluff) and serves some of the BEST drinks in town. They are personally my favorite drinks in the whole entire world. You can either sit inside or outside and have food or sit at the bar for drinks. Octagon Bar is also the best place to meet up in PB for late night cocktails (as it is the only bar that stays open until 12AM). Thomas and Tina serve a mad Moscow Mule and will treat you very well!
Canteen
The Canteen is a perfect stop in Moreland Village to pick up a cup of coffee or breakfast sandwich in the morning, and a homemade panini, wrap, salad or snacks in the afternoon. Take it to go or enjoy an afternoon on the Canteen's open air porch and enjoy a glass of wine or a beer from a local brewery. Only right across the street from coles!
RT'S MARKET
RT's Market is your neighborhood general store, and so much more. Here, you can pick up your morning newspaper and coffee, top off your gas tank, buy milk and bread for the next day's breakfast, or the ingredients for preparing a gourmet meal for a house full of guests. River House
Palmetto Bluff's website says it best: Whether basking in unparalleled views of the May River from the veranda while sipping a handcrafted cocktail or relaxing into the evening with an after-dinner drink around the warmth of the riverside fire pits, the River House Lounge has a beverage and view for all occasions. Reflecting Palmetto Bluff’s Southern charm, the menu features a mix of delicious food, timeless wines, high gravity and craft beers, remixed classic cocktails, and handcrafted locally-inspired libations. River House Lounge offers libations and bar bites Wednesday through Sunday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Fun Activities
There are so many fun things to do here at Palmetto Bluff. Palmetto Bluff has an awesome adult pool and a large family pool both of which overlook the May River. They also have a pool at Moreland Landing and another pool at The Inn (for Inn guests only). There is tennis, hiking, basket ball, croquet, you can rent bikes, paddle boarding on the may river, kayaking, canoeing, there are pedal boats, fishing, horse back riding, bowling, bocce ball, and so much more to explore at Palmetto Bluff. ***Palmetto Bluff just set up new pickle ball courts and Henry and I are OBSESSED. Highly recommend squeezing in a game or two. The Tennis Pro Shop can set you up with paddles and a court!
Montage Palmetto Bluff
The beautiful Inn at Palmetto Bluff has so many accommodations including a spa, a pool, the spa boutique, treasures at montage (another shop in the Inn) and much more
May River Golf Shop
Whether you are picking up golf balls, dressing for the day’s conditions, or just looking to see the latest fashions in Golf merchandise, the Pro Shop can accommodate your every need. Polo Ralph Lauren, RLX, Peter Millar, and Bobby Jones are just a few of the collections featured in the shop.
May River Grill
**May River Grill serves lunch to Inn guests, members and those renting homes through Palmetto Bluff only**. Nestled alongside the May River Golf Course, the May River Grill at the clubhouse is the ideal spot for casual dining or a post-round meal in a relaxing atmosphere. Enjoy lunch indoors or check out the action on the links on the outdoor terrace. You can also enjoy an enticing cocktail in the bar while watching golfers finish their round on the 18th green. May River Grill is open Tuesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., with drinks and refreshing cocktails served until the last player finishes. FYI men must wear a collared shirt to eat here and you will be asked to remove your hat.
The Boutique at Boat House Row
Located on Boat House Row in Wilson Village, The Boutique offers an assortment of resort wear, accessories and gift merchandise. Some of the featured luxury brands include Tory Burch, Diane von Furstenberg, Helen Kaminski, Peter Millar, Joie, Southern Tide and Lafco Candles to mention a few. Merchandise changes seasonally and is selected specifically with the luxury guest in mind. Right down the street from Buffalos!
Wilson Landing
Wilson Landing is where you can rent paddle boards, kayaks, and schedule other water activities.
