Before dinner at Shun Lee East, we will receive a premarital blessing during Friday night services at Central Synagogue, beginning at 6pm. Aufruf means "calling up" in Yiddish. It is an important part of the Jewish tradition, in which couples are called up to the bema to be wrapped together in a tallis and recite a blessing before the reading of Torah. We would be honored if you'd be with us in person at Central Synagogue (652 Lexington Ave @ 55th St) or via livestream at https://www.centralsynagogue.org/worship/livestreaming. Please RSVP if you'd like to join us at Shun Lee Palace, and note that this dinner will not be covered by the wedding party.

Semi-Formal: Suits and cocktail dresses are great, but be comfortable. Dress to impress and throw in some color! It’s a gay wedding people!
Please aim to arrive between 11:30 and 11:45. The ceremony will begin at 12:00 sharp, so give yourself some extra time to get to the venue and grab your seat.

Join us in a "best of...NY's gay bar crawl" in Hell's Kitchen (subject to change): 8-9:30: First stop-- "The Spot" 595 Tenth Ave Popular gay bar with food and cute cocktails. Good early night option. 10-11:30: Second stop-- "Aquihito", 359 W. 39th St Small, cute Japanese gay bar exactly like what you would find in Tokyo. A New York treasure. Good for taking a light drink and chatting break. If it rains we might have to change plans because the inside space won't hold us. 12pm-??: Third stop-- "Hardware" 697 Tenth Ave Yes, we know we're walking back up 10th, but trust us. This is the place to let your hair down and leave it on the dance floor. If you have better ideas...keep it to yourself! Just kidding, we're open to other suggestions. Hope you can make it!
