We met at work! Thank you, Hill Holliday. We first really talked at a coworker's going away party (for a few hours). Not too long after, Henry then brought a date to the annual holiday party, which turned out to be a genius move because Eliza realized she was jealous. Her “big move" was following Henry on Instagram. Shortly thereafter, he asked her out on a date and as they say, the rest is history.

Henry proposed on Eliza's 30th birthday in Martha's Vineyard. They headed to the beach where Eliza's family vacations every year for a picnic lunch. After an excruciatingly long (for Henry) and bumpy Lyft ride down the 3 mile dirt road, they had arrived. Eliza sat on the sand while Henry poured celebratory birthday Prosecco. After a cheers, he fumbled around in his bag, knelt on one knee, said some really nice things, Eliza cried, and said yes! When they went to dinner that night, both of their parents were already sitting in the restaurant waiting to celebrate (Henry's final surprise).
