What do I wear?

Answer

The weekend will mostly be casual outside hangout times, but for Saturday get a little fancy and wear what you feel best in! Most people will probably wear something between "business casual" and "semi-formal" - no need for a tux, but maybe save the jeans for the hang out times of the weekend. Also note that the ceremony will be a short walk up a dirt road, and the cocktail hour will happen on a grassy lawn, so leave the stilettos at home!

Will I be freezing at night? Or eaten to death by bugs?

Answer

September in Vermont does come with a big fluctuation in temperature - it will likely be warm during the day, and get down in the 50s at night. Bring layers! We will provide bug spray, citronella candles, and fleece blankets to wrap up in as the sun goes down on Saturday. There will also be fires around and plenty of inside hang out spots for when you want to keep warm.

Can I still get the provided meals at the venue even if I'm staying at a hotel or Airbnb?

Answer

Yes! You can pay $39 for meals on campus if you're not staying there. If you're interested please RSVP to the meals you'd like to join for on this site!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please do! It will help us to know the numbers of each dish we'll offer at the buffet. There will be vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options available.

Question

I'm in a tent - is it like normal camping?

Answer

Think GLAMPING! You'll be in a canvas tent on a platform with linens and cots. But do bring a flashlight or head lamp for light in the tent and on the way to and from it at night. There is no electricity in the tents, but there are plenty of places elsewhere to charge your phone. Or bring a portable charger! There is no plumbing in the tents, but there is a wash house nearby that has everything you need.
