FAQs

Question

What will the weather be like in Tulum in mid-December?

Answer

Wanna know the vibe? Think island-perfect: sunny and warm, with highs near 82 °F (28 °C), mild breezes, and only a small chance of a quick sprinkle—ideal for dancing barefoot under the palm trees!

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

We’re going full tropical dreams here—everything will be outdoors, weather permitting. Fingers crossed for clear skies so we can soak in that sunset glow together!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Welcome Party (Dressy Casual / Beachy Chic): Ladies, enjoy sundresses or flowy skirts. Gents, cool and comfy—think collared shirts and breathable linen. Wedding Day (Formal): Black-tie vibes—dashing tuxedos or sleek suits for the guys; gowns or formal dresses for the ladies. We're dreaming of rich, colorful Mexican tones—think bold, joyful, and oh-so festive!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We wish we could invite everyone—not to mention their plus ones—but to keep things sweet and intimate, please stick to the people officially listed on the invitation. Thanks for understanding!

Question

Are kids welcome at the wedding?

Answer

Love your little ones, but for this celebration, we’re keeping it adults-only.

Question

Do I need a passport to travel to Mexico?

Answer

Yes—don’t forget your passport! If you haven’t applied yet, now’s the time. You’ll want it in hand well before our December 13th date to avoid any last-minute stress.

Question

Do I need a visa to visit Mexico?

Answer

Most of our friends from the U.S. and Canada don’t need a visa, just a valid passport. If you’re traveling from elsewhere, check your country's requirements or reach out and I’ll help look it up!

Question

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

Your best bet is Cancún International Airport (CUN) or Tulum International Airport (TQO) — CUN is about 1 hour 30 minutes and Tulum Airport is 30-40 minutes away from the Tulum Center.

Question

When should I book accommodations and flights?

Answer

We like to say sooner the better!

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

Check out our Travel Page for hotel options, all-inclusives, and charming Airbnbs—all conveniently close to the villa where we’ll celebrate. If you’d like recommendations or help booking, just reach out to me—your personal destination concierge, Abi-Grace!
