What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at 2:30-2:45 PM.

Will the ceremony and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both will take place indoors.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

While we can't predict the exact forecast for our special day, it's typically hot and sunny around that time of the year. Don't worry though! We will make sure the venue is nice and cool for lots of dancing.

What will your wedding-day timeline look like?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 3 PM and will last for about 30 min. After the ceremony, there will be a cocktail hour while the newlyweds take picture with the wedding party and parents. Reception will start at 4:30 PM and we'll have dinner served by 5 PM. After that we have dessert and dancing!

How do I get to the wedding venue? Will transportation be provided?

Answer

While we won't provide transportation, we are more than happy to help you find your way. One way to get there is to take the F subway to York St, A/C to High St, or 2/3 to Clark St. A bus option is to take the B25 to Water St/Main St. Other options are Uber, Lyft, or regular taxi to 155 Water St, Brooklyn.

What type of food and drink will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?

Answer

We'll be having a buffet with lots of options for everyone to find something, followed by a delicious dessert table!

I have dietary restrictions/allergies. What's the best way to let you know?

Answer

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

We will have a simple open bar offering wine, beer and non-alcoholic drinks for adults 21 years of age and older. Please consume responsibly and enjoy the evening!

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you put all your cell phones and electronic devices away during our ceremony. We have an amazing photographer on site and we are happy to share any photos when we receive them! We invite you to be fully present and enjoy the moment with us as we become Mr & Mrs. For the reception, feel free to use your phone as you wish and take lots of pictures.

When will the reception end? Will there be an after-party?

We plan to party until the venue kicks us out, which is at 1 AM.

What health and safety measures will you be taking during the event?

Answer

We will adhere to state and local health and safety guidelines at the time of the wedding. Please check back here as we approach the event.

Do we need to be vaccinated to attend the wedding?

Answer

Preferably. We hate that this is something we have to deal with, however, for the safety of all our guests we ask that our guests are vaccinated. We want to party like it is 2019 - you know before COVID was a thing and this is the best way to make that happen.

How will you communicate any updated information and/or changes before the wedding?

Answer

If there's a chance that our wedding will be altered or changed, we will let you know far in advance by email and/or text message.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget, so we can only accommodate those who are named on the invitation. If you are unsure on who is included, feel free to reach out to either the bride or the groom.
