Things To Do

Pike Place Market

Pike Place Market

85 Pike Street, Seattle, WA 98101

If you haven't walked through Pike Place Market, we highly recommend doing so while you're here! It's walking distance from the Four Seasons and is so fun in the summer time. Watch the flying fish, find the gum wall, and explore the vendor stalls.

Seattle Aquarium

Seattle Aquarium

1483 Alaskan Way Pier 59, Seattle, WA 98101

Just a 5-minute walk from the Four Seasons , the Seattle Aquarium is right on the water and fun for kids and adults.

Seattle Art Museum

Seattle Art Museum

1300 1st Avenue, Seattle, WA 98101

Right across the street from the Four Seasons, this is a great museum to explore if you only have an hour or two. Peter has been on many a school field trip here!

The Seattle Great Wheel

The Seattle Great Wheel

1301 Alaskan Way, Seattle, WA 98101

We haven't actually been on the Great Wheel yet, but it's walking distance from the Four Seasons and would be so beautiful in the summertime. There's also an arcade and a carousel at the pier if you have little ones with you.

Watson Kennedy Fine Home

Watson Kennedy Fine Home

1022 1st Avenue, Seattle, WA 98104

Walking distance from the Four Seasons and directly across from The Sonesta, this is Peter's mom's favorite store in Seattle. It's organized by color and is such a joy to explore.

Ivar's Pier 54 Fish Bar

Ivar's Pier 54 Fish Bar

1001 Alaskan Way, Seattle, WA 98104

A Seattle area institution, this is your best bet for some PNW fish and chips. The clam chowder is also a must.

Space Needle

Space Needle

400 Broad Street, Seattle, WA 98109

The Seattle landmark with an iconic view, the Space Needle is especially great on a clear day. Right next to the Chihuly Garden and Glass Museum and the Seattle Children's Museum, it's easy to make a day of the area.

Chihuly Garden and Glass

Chihuly Garden and Glass

305 Harrison Street, Seattle, WA 98109

We visited the Chihuly Garden and Glass Museum shortly after moving here and loved it! Lots to see both indoors and outdoors. They also have glass blowing demonstrations which were so fun to watch. It's right by the Space Needle so you can do both in the same outing.

Downtown Edmonds

Downtown Edmonds

422 Main Street, Edmonds, WA 98020

Quite possibly the cutest little town in Washington! Peter's parents live in downtown Edmonds and Charlotte's dad is 5 minutes from the town center. Lots of boutiques and restaurants. You can also walk the Edmonds beach and see the ferries. It's a bit of a drive from the Four Seasons, so we recommend going only if you have some extra time and a car.

Green Lake

Green Lake

7201 East Green Lake Dr N, Seattle, WA 98115

One of our favorite walks in the city! If you're looking for something active to do, this is a great option. It's a flat 2.8 mile trail around a beautiful lake with fun people watching.
