It was my first day in a new school. I was getting adjusted and familiar with the different classes and students. I headed to the discipline office to get my student ID & Juan saw me from the glass window on the door. He opened the door and introduced himself, and complimented my eyes. He spent 8 months trying to catch my attention and on September 8, 2016 we made it official.

I've waited 5 years to be proposed to. I knew from the moment I met him, that he'd be the one I want to spend forever with. On Christmas day, 12/25/2021, we opened presents at the house, and I was gifted many things that I was grateful for. We then headed to his mothers house, to have Ayden open more presents. I was surprised with a rectangular box that was wrapped. I opened it to reveal a Robitussin box that I purchased a week before because of a bad cold I had. He grabbed the box and continued with "After 5 years" and from then I knew what was happening. The feeling the I craved for the most happened right in front of me and I could not stop shaking. It was pure bliss. I said yes to the love of my life and now look forward to spending everyday after 9/9/2023 as his wife.
