At the Mehndi, family and friends come together to adorn their hands and feet with beautiful henna designs—a cherished custom believed to bring love, happiness, and good luck to the couple as they begin their new journey.

Hosted by Henisha’s and Jeet's family, this vibrant ceremony is all about love, laughter, and lots of haldi (turmeric)! The Vidhi/Pithi symbolizes Henisha and Jeet’s readiness for married life—with a little help from cleansing rituals, blessings from family and friends, and a healthy dose of turmeric glow. It marks the beautiful beginning of our wedding festivities—so come ready to celebrate!

Sangeet/Garba

7:00 pm - 11:00 pm

Women: Colorful vibrant, semi-formal attire with a focus on Indian traditional clothing like lehengas, Anarkali suits, and sarees. Men: Vibrant, semi-formal attire, either Indian or American, such as Kurta Pajama, Nehru Jacket, or Suit Jacket(with or without tie).

The Sangeet & Garba is a cherished evening of music, dance, and cultural celebration. The night begins with heartfelt performances, joyful songs, and blessings from loved ones during the Sangeet, honoring the union of two families. The celebration continues with Garba and Raas—traditional Gujarati dances that bring everyone together in rhythm and spirit. Surrounded by love, laughter, and vibrant energy, this night marks a joyful step toward the wedding day.
