Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

Please make sure to RSVP by August 1. This allows us to give our vendors a correct count prior to the wedding. Unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate anyone that RSVPs past August 1.

What do I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot attend our wedding, please indicate your regrets on your RSVP so we can plan accordingly.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We are only able to accommodate guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Invitee's names will appear when you RSVP.

Can I bring my children?

Answer

Due to many factors, we respectively request no children attend our wedding. This is an ADULT ONLY affair. We hope you take this opportunity to enjoy a date night with your significant other or enjoy a night out to yourself. We appreciate you making prior arrangements.

What are your wedding colors?

Answer

Greens and oranges! The groom and groomsmen will wear olive green suits, and the bridesmaids will wear burnt orange/terracotta dresses.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our friends and family dress up with us, but we want everyone to feel comfortable! We are requesting semi-formal or cocktail dress code, but men are welcome to wear dark blue jeans with boots. Feel free to wear whatever color you would like, but please no white.

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 5:00 p.m. We recommend you arrive about twenty (20) minutes prior to the ceremony to park and take your seat.

Where should I stay?

Answer

Thank you so much for traveling the distance to celebrate with us! This information is located on the "Travel" tab with a link to our hotel block.

Will transportation be provided from the hotel?

Answer

Yes, there will be a school bus available to take guests that are staying at the hotel to the venue and back. There will be one (1) bus trip that will depart the hotel at 4:10 p.m. to arrive at the venue prior to the start of the ceremony. There will be two (2) bus trips from the venue to the hotel at the end of the evening. The first trip back to the hotel will leave at 11:00 p.m. and the second trip back to the hotel will leave at 11:30 p.m.

Where should I park?

Answer

When you arrive at the venue, you will stay to the left to go up the hill to the parking lot. Please follow the signs to Upper Vista.

Can I leave my car overnight?

Answer

Absolutely! We want you to have a fun and safe night at our wedding. If you need to leave your car overnight in the parking lot please do. You will be able to retrieve it in the morning.

Where will the ceremony and reception take place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and the reception will take place outdoors at Upper Vista at The Log Cabin (The Log Cabin Banquet & Meeting House, 500 Easthampton Road, Holyoke, MA 1040). The ceremony will be in a grassy area (be careful of certain high heels in case the ground is wet!) and the reception will be under a tent on the outdoor patio.

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an "Unplugged Ceremony". This means no phones or personal cameras will be allowed during the ceremony. We have hired amazing professional photographers to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. Before and after the ceremony, feel free to take as many pictures or videos as you'd like!

Where can I submit my meal preferences?

Answer

We are having a buffet and passed appetizers! Buffet will offer sliced sirloin, chicken florentine with mushrooms, baked scrod with lobster sauce, and eggplant napoleon with plenty of sides! If you have any dietary restrictions, please submit that information through your RSVP or contact Shannon or Ed directly.
