Although we only lived twelve doors down from each other our whole lives, we met at the bus stop on the first day of sixth grade. What started out as a friendship quickly turned into a bond that would outlive ten years of life lived apart from each other. When the pandemic hit and college students were forced to return to their hometowns, we ran into each other in the neighborhood and it felt like no time had passed. We immediately fell back into the same friendship that we shared when we were twelve. In 2020, there were approximately 93 days of summer. We spent 90 days of that summer together - as friends. From camping and beach trips with our friends, to boat days on the Magothy River, whatever we were doing, we did it together. Fast forward to the Winter of 2021. After 400 miles of distance and countless FaceTime calls, Liam came home from the University of Rhode Island for winter break. Over the course of those two weeks, we finally decided to face the inevitable truth that we were meant to be together. Our friends and family, although not surprised, we're thrilled for us and have been the best support system for our love story to build and grow. The rest is history.
