We met at a music festival in Palm Springs, California where we had mutual friends. We got to know each other for two days at the festival, and it felt like it was just us even though there were so many people and loud music all around. The day after the festival, Derek asked, "want to come with me to San Diego?" Of course it was a yes. Another two days together and we knew we had to start a long distance love. What are the odds of meeting your soulmate who both live thousands of miles apart. Since then we have been inseparable - from long distance traveling to see each other, making memories in new cities, having our fur babies meet (and slowly love each other), and deciding what was next for our future. There was never a hesitation for us, it all fit even when it should not have been the easiest, it was for us because we always knew we were the one for eachother. After a move to Michigan and leaving California - a home for Taylor for 30 years - we are now starting to build our simple but fun life together with more adventures ahead for our little family. We are so excited to celebrate with all of you becoming one!
