We suggest wearing shoes that are comfortable for you to walk on a hiking-like trail. The walk is not long, but it is downhill and on dirt; stilettos not suggested.
We are providing the mandatory park pass for each vehicle. Parking is limited; please share rides to the best of your ability! Stop at the Welcome Center as you enter into Lory State Park, tell them you are with the Hemperly Wedding, and they will provide you with a pass.

This park is at the bottom of Horsetooth Reservoir and just outside of Lory State Park. If you go south on Overland coming down from Lory, enter the parking lot, and drive until the parking lot ends, you will find the correct shelter area!
