What should I wear to the Country Western Party?

Answer

Boots, Hats, Jeans, Belt Buckle, Bolo Tie Think somewhere between a 70's Texas honky tonk and 90's Garth Brooks

What should I wear to the Ceremony?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, or dressy pantsuit and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat. No jeans, please.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Spring comes to Savannah in March along with warmer temperatures. Average high temperatures hover in the low 70's. Evenings may require a light jacket or sweater as temperatures may drop into the low 50's.

When and where is the ceremony taking place?

Answer

The ceremony will take place at 5 o'clock in the afternoon at Whitefield Square, located at 431 Habersham St. Guests should plan to meet at Bellwether House at 4 o'clock in the afternoon. Refreshments will be available. Guests will take a short walk from the Bellwether to the square for the ceremony at approximately 4:30. If you require assistance please let us know before hand for this to be arranged.

Where will the reception be held?

Answer

The reception will be held at Bellwether House. 211 E Gaston ST Savannah, GA 31401

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held outdoors. There will be an option for indoor seating at the reception. Cocktail hour will be held indoors. In the event of inclement weather alternative plans will be conveyed.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony guest will retreat back to Bellwether House for cocktail hour where lite bites and beverages will be served.

Where should guests park?

Answer

There is metered parking available along East Gaston, Drayton, Abercorn, and Habersham Streets. As this is a busy time of year in the City we do encourage looking into Uber and Lyft as options.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, however, our wedding is an adults-only event. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to the size of the venue (and local ordinances) we will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Question

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend guests stay?

Answer

With most of the wedding festivities taking place around Forsyth Park we recommend you stay close by. There are many Airbnbs and Bed and Breakfasts within walking distance. A few guests are staying at the McMillan Inn. The Gastonian is also a nearby option. Please contact Sarah for further recommendations and questions.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

The RSVP deadline is April 5th. Guests can mail back their RSVP card or simply RSVP to events they plan to attend here, on the website, under RSVP.

Question

Will food and drinks be served at the reception?

Answer

Yes. There will be light bites at the cocktail hour and a three course meal will be served during the reception. Please be sure to choose your protein when completing your RSVP.

What if I have food allergies or dietary restrictions?

Answer

Please update Sarah prior to April 1st with any food allergies or dietary restrictions. Individual orders will be taken at dinner, but we would like to be able to prepare for allergies or food restrictions in advance.

Will transportation be provided to and from events?

Answer

Please utilize our Uber code () for any transportation needs during the weekend events. If you need special assistance getting too and from the ceremony please let Sarah know prior to April 1st.

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

We ask the you refrain from taking and posting pictures from the ceremony. Please feel free to post any of the other weekend events including the reception.
