Meet the reason for our existence ;)

Ankita Khivasara

Bride

Ankita is an independent, adventurous person with versatile interests. She is always up for exploring and learning new skills which range from dancing to ice skating to painting to gardening to water sports (and everything in between!). Ankita was born and brought up in Oman and associates Oman as her first home. She then pursued her CA in India. With her love for challenges, she explored opportunities and worked in the UAE and then in a few years moved to the US for work. She believes that these moves have been possible only due to the constant support from her parents. Ankita currently works as a Global Tax Manager at KPMG.

Hemant Pugaliya

Groom

Hemant is inquisitive and loves to know nitty-gritty details of everything. As a kid, Hemant was passionate about quizzing, debating and computer programming. He completed his Masters in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University and is currently an Applied Scientist at Amazon. Hemant likes to hike & bike, watch the latest TV shows , experiment with cooking, hit the gym (with Ankita ofcourse!) and do everything Ankita likes to do ;)

Supriya Jain Khivasara

Mother of the Bride

Ankita thinks her mother is cooler than her! She never gets tired of traveling or dressing up and clicking pictures. She is extremely creative and her talents include converting any item to art. You’ll see the house filled with decorative items made by her and also, beautiful paintings. Ankita’s fondest memories with her mom is going on an only mom-daughter trip to over three countries (Georgia/ Azerbaijan/ Armenia/ UAE). Ankita gets her adventurous side from her mom.

Gokul Jain Khivasara

Father of the Bride

Ankita looks up to her father who has been a constant guide and inspiration for her endeavours. They discuss anything and everything under the sun. Ankita enjoys his sassy dialogues. He advocates spirituality and loves being up to date with the latest inventions. Ankita’s father (and mother) moved to Oman right after their wedding (28 years ago). Ankita’s fond memories with her dad is her dad-daughter trip to San Francisco where they discovered the US together. Ankita gets her sweet tooth from her Dad.

Barkha Pugaliya

Mother of the Groom

Hemant’s mother ensures that the family keeps the house in order and loves assigning tasks to everyone at home. She tries her best to impart her religious knowledge to Hemant and the community. She is very social and knows the best shopping spots in Bangalore ;)

Roopchand Pugaliya

Father of the Groom

Hemant’s father teams up with him against his mom & sister while playing cards (and usually beats them). Hemant’s father moved to Bangalore 35 years ago and has thrived ever since. He loves watching cricket, being up to date with current politics & news and spending time with his family.
