All your questions and concerns can be answered by reading through the questions below. If you have a more specific question, please call the couple at (562) 587 3542. Please note you will not be able to contact the couple the day of the wedding.

What can I wear?

Answer

Formal. Please keep in mind the ceremony will be indoors. Please do not wear white out of respect to the bride.

Where do we park for the ceremony?

Answer

The church has a large self parking lot. Park your car and enter the church through the front steps.

Question

Is the ceremony held indoors?

Answer

Yes. The ceremony will be held in a church.

What happens if I’m late to the ceremony?

Answer

If you arrive after 2 PM, you will be required to wait until the bride has walked down the aisle until you can join the audience.

Can I take my own pictures of the couple?

Answer

There will be a photographer so please take pictures and videos without the flash. Silence your phones during the ceremony.

Are there any COVID rules or regulations to follow?

Answer

While we monitor the pandemic, as of now masks and other face covering are optional to guests. Although testing and masks are not required, you may distance yourself from others at the ceremony.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

Once the ceremony has ended, you will be required to leave the church. There will be an intermission from 3-5. The reception will be available at 5 PM.

Where will the reception be held?

Answer

The Rose Gardens in Whittier, CA.

Where do we park for the reception?

Answer

The Rose Gardens has a large self-parking lot. There is also street parking available.

What amenities will the reception have?

Answer

The reception will include a buffet dinner, music, dancing, photos, dessert, and time to chat and congratulate the couple. There is also self-parking, bathrooms, and nearby stores and restaurants in case of emergencies.

Where do we put wedding gifts?

Answer

There will be a table for wedding gifts at the reception. Please do not bring gifts to the ceremony in the church. The couple also have an online registry available.

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

The bride and groom have provided a bar with limited first drinks for friends and family. Other alcohol can be bought. Water and soda will be free of charge.

Will our vehicles/ belongings be safe?

Answer

Each person will have an assigned seat where you can keep your personal belongings. There will be security in the venue as well as the parking lot throughout the duration of the reception. However, the bride and groom and the venue are not responsible for lost items.

When does the reception end?

Answer

The reception ends at 11 PM

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

No. If you are unsure of your guest number, check your wedding invitation or contact the bride or groom before the wedding day.

Will I be able to call/text the couple the day of the wedding?

Answer

You will not be able to contact the bride or groom on the day of the wedding. If you have any dire needs or confirmations please contact the bridesmaids or parents of the couple.

Can I bring my children?

Answer

The names and number of guests invited are on your invitation. If children are invited, their names will be on the invitation. Please reference your invite or contact the couple before the wedding day.

Is there a cocktail hour?

Answer

The venue will be available to guests at 5pm. At that time, guests can find their seats and order from the bar. Please keep in mind the bride and groom will have their grand entrance at 5:30pm.

When will dinner be served?

Answer

While the groom and bride hope you can celebrate throughout the entire evening with them, they know life is busy. Therefore, dinner will be available from 6pm to 7pm.

Are there any COVID rules or regulations to follow for the reception?

Answer

While we continue to monitor the pandemic, at this moment masks and testing is not mandatory. If you are concerned about social distancing, please keep in mind the groom and bride have seated you with your family and close friends.

When will the party start?

Answer

The bride and groom will make their grand entrance at 5:30pm. Afterwards, dinner and dancing will commence!

Where are the couple registered for gifts?

Answer

The couple are registered on Zola and Amazon. Simply search either the bride or groom’s name in the Amazon Registry Search or preview the Registry Page on their wedding website.

Can I bring my children?

Answer

Unless your invitation specifically mentions your children’s names, they cannot attend. Only those persons addressed on your invite are expected to attend.
