We're Getting Married!

Hunter and Sammie first met in high school when Sammie was visiting a mutual friend in the library. A month later, that same mutual friend organized a lunch outing and invited both of them. While they didn’t talk much at first, the seeds of friendship were planted. A few months later, Sammie asked for Hunter’s social media, and what began as casual conversations quickly turned into something more. They spent hours chatting, getting to know each other, and building a connection that grew stronger with each conversation. Over time, their friendship blossomed. They shared countless late-night FaceTime calls, often staying up talking until the early hours and sometimes even falling asleep on the phone together. After returning from a family vacation in New Jersey, Sammie went to visit Hunter, who was home for the weekend from college. Though they had only met a couple of times before, this visit felt different, as if they had been best friends for years. Everything between them felt natural and effortless. It was during that weekend, on August 24, 2017, that Hunter asked Sammie to be his girlfriend. From that moment on, their journey together truly began, filled with love, laughter, and countless memories to come.
