So glad you asked! It can be kind of a bear parking by the beach. We do reccommend finding one place to park between the Chapel (ceremony) and the marina (reception) and walking to both. It will all be pay to park but there are machines and the park mobile app is utilized by most lots. The walk from the chapel to the boat is about 20 minutes and we have a decent amount of time between the two events to accomodate walkers or drivers. Parking is limited at both places, but there is parking lots all between. Here are some helpful websites for parking lots: https://www.myclearwater.com/Visit-the-Beach/Beach-Parking/List-of-Beach-Parking-Lots-Garages https://www.myclearwater.com/files/sharedassets/public/v/5/engineering/documents/parking/beach-parking-map-june-2024.pdf Also, if you are staying on the beach or along the Jolley Trolley route, that is also an option. Some hotels work with the Trolley and you may get free fare with your room key. Here is some info on the trolley: https://www.clearwaterjolleytrolley.com/public-routes https://www.clearwaterjolleytrolley.com/_files/ugd/403d8f_880cfa3e16d14a419ab93c2f122125d2.pdf The Chapel is stop 7 and the marina is stop 14.
We say formal, but we really mean no jeans but also no tuxes. Suit pants and jacket, ties aren't necessary. Longer dresses for the gals. The vibe is "old Florida" and we want to keep it colorful and fun. Keep in mind the boat is three stories, even the bride won't be wearing heels so please feel free to stay comfortable!
Sho' nuff! But keep in mind there is no leaving early-- the reception is on a boat. At sea. Till 11pm. But we are excited to party with the kiddos, too!
There are hotels all over Clearwater Beach, we have a block at ChartHouse and Marriott (see the Travel page for block info). There are a lot of airbnb's as well and you can look at nearby areas; Dunedin, Largo, Seminole, and Indian Rocks Beach.
