If you arrive Friday evening and are looking for a place to relax and take in the salty ocean air, one of our favorite places for happy hour is Echo, located inside of the King & Prince Resort. Here you'll find a cozy lounge and outdoor patio with a fun cocktail menu and happy hour options. Top Picks: Local Cheese Sampler; Braised Beef Pot Roast, Seasonal Desserts. We often find ourselves just ordering the cheese plate as a meal with a cocktail or two, and then skipping straight to dessert! We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

We look forward to celebrating with our wedding party to thank you all for being a part of our special day. Following the rehearsal at the Saint Simons Lighthouse Museum, the wedding party and their guests are invited to join us for our rehearsal dinner in the River Room at Coastal Kitchen, located at the Saint Simons Island Marina. The River Room overlooks the Saint Simons Sound, with gorgeous views of sailboats in the sunset.

The ceremony will take place in front of the Lighthouse InnKeeper's Cottage (outdoors), with cocktails in the garden to follow. Guests are invited to go up the lighthouse for sweeping views of the Saint Simons Sound at sunset, or enjoy yard games and photo ops before the reception. The reception will be held in the A.W. Heritage Center next door (indoors). Parking for the ceremony and reception is to the left of the A.W. Heritage Center & Lighthouse Museum. We invite our friends to join us at the Pier Village for a drink after the wedding!

Voted the "Best BBQ in the South" many times over by Southern Living Magazine, we can assure you, you won't go wrong dining here. One of our favorite BBQ spots, you will order at the counter and they bring it out to you. Note that the lines can get fairly long on Saturdays, so aim for 11-11:30 when they open, or just be prepared to wait a bit. Top Picks: Pork Sandwich; Fried Green Beans, Brunswick Stew. All are heaven!
