Air Travel Options

Seattle is a great choice if you want to spend some time in the city and rent a car. Semiahmoo is about two hours north of Seattle. Paine Field Airport in Everett is a newer, convenient airport that is slightly north of Seattle and about an hour and a half away from Semiahmoo. Bellingham airport is very small and does not have quite as many direct flights, but is only about a half hour away from the venue. If you want to do less driving, it is a great choice. Vancouver, BC, Canada is about an hour and a half north of the resort. If you're feeling adventurous, you can fly into Vancouver International Airport, but be aware that there may be delays at the border.

Lodging Ideas

We recommend staying in Blaine or Bellingham (30 minutes away). Bellingham has more hotel options, as well as restaurants and a cute downtown. Blaine is a bit more remote, but is truly a destination. There are many AirBnB options in both cities. In Bellingham, there are also several hotels to choose from, including The Chrysalis Inn, Hotel Bellwether, Springhill Suites by Marriott, Fairhaven Village Inn, and many more.

Semiahmoo Resort

Semiahmoo is a great and convenient option for lodging since the ceremony and reception are being held there. Our limited room block is available using the link at the bottom of the page. Currently, the room block is the only option which allows you to book a single-night stay. Any reservation outside of this requires a minimum of two nights (more detail below). For those planning to only stay Saturday, please keep in mind that check-in is at 4 PM and the ceremony starts at 5:30. Once the room block is filled, the easiest way to make your reservation is by calling the front desk and letting them know you are a guest attending the Diamond/Hellman wedding. The cost of rooms will likely go up as time passes and more people book, so it is better to book sooner than later.
