Kara met Craig at a bar in Los Angeles. Craig was working the door. They became casual friends. Kara got married, and Craig was going through a divorce. Kara started living in LA full-time (kids in tow). Kara's new marriage didn't go well, and Craig's divorce was finalized. (BTW, in case I forgot to mention, Craig was his boss) After a year or so, Kara had to move back to the Bay Area (Not a good idea) or stay with a friend to try and get back on my feet. Their "Situation" started very unconventionally (shocked gasp) IFKYK. A year later.... (yea right) Craig proclaimed Kara officially his in the middle of the bar (McGee's) on Saint Patty's Day in 2014(and Kara did as she was told). Craig and Kara officially moved in together in April 2014 (Apt 143 ,awww). They have been together every single day since. We have been thru many trials and tribulations over the years (as Drake says "we started from the bottom, now we here") from living on the streets of Cali to convincing him to take a chance and start over in Florida. It was nice being near his family for a bit. It allowed us to build and fortify our village before making the biggest leap of faith yet. This MF flies to NC before his birthday to help a friend with a job. He calls me every night, but by the second or third night, he tells me to start packing; we are moving (cue shocked music). We have made great strides in life and relationships since we moved here in 2019. After a few years of "cheating"(on the engagement), Mr. Garner finally decided June 7th, 2025, at the Wu Tang Concert was the time to ask the question, and guess what finally. I finally said YES (or in Kara fashion, "of course I will"), then proceeded to tell him he was dumb (who else would use "All I need" shout-out to Method Man, as a segue to a proposal). The only one that can handle me, I guess. As we prepare to embark on the final years of Craig's life (Lmao), I can't imagine anyone else that I would be able to spend it with. One thing I personally have learned over the many years (semi-harmoniously) with this man, great sex and stained-glass windows (broken glass put back together beautifully) are what hold a relationship together. We have only been apart, maybe a dozen days over 12 years, and we haven't killed each other yet. So, I guess natural progression is marry him and get a big ass life insurance policy :) We love and appreciate every single one of you making the journey to celebrate the culmination of our worlds uniting.
