A great dinner spot in Asbury Park!
A little off the beaten path but still in Asbury Park, R Bar has an amazing menu - you'll likely need a reservation if you want to grab a meal on the weekend but we highly recommend!
If you're in need of a good breakfast sandwich come Saturday or Sunday morning, the Speakeatery has you covered! Serving breakfast from 8AM-11AM then transitioning into a menu of amazing sandwiches for lunch from 11AM-4PM.
Delicious, more casual brunch spot.
If you're in the mood for Mexican!
If you're looking to grab a drink late-night, Johnny Mac's is tried & true. For every drink you buy, you get a ticket that you can redeem for a free personal pizza that they're cooking up fresh in their pizza oven - and they're actually pretty good!
We can't vouge for it ourselves, but we've been told they do an espresso martini VERY well.
One of the most narrow cocktail bars you may ever step foot in, but they've got a great menu of specialty cocktails and small bites if you're in the mood!
We'd be remiss to not include this gem on our list - while we don't get there as often these days, this was our favorite spot for a night out. There will be a line (and likely a cover on a Friday night) but grab dinner on the outside porch, then skip the line/cover and head inside for live music and dancing (and don't ignore the snack bar). It's an 11-ish minute drive from Asbury Park (and about 9 minutes from Spring Lake).
