Aaron and I met initially in 2014 while both of us worked at Ridgeview Behavioral Health-Inpatient Psych Unit. I had just started Nursing School and he had been working there as a Psych Tech for several years. We had an instant connection but never imagined that the spark, charisma, humor, and natural affinity we had for each other back then would grow into the romance and commitment that we have today. Since that time, we remained friends through separate relationships, break-ups, divorce, and at the end of what seemed like forever, God brought us back together in one of the most trying years of our life. We are forever thankful for this journey called life and no matter if it has taken 10 years to reach this point, sometimes the best things come to those who wait.
