Where will the ceremony take place?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outside on the grass lawn of the Glidden House. Please enter through the front door of the Glidden House to be directed to seating. Inclement weather location will be in the Glidden House Ballroom.

What time should I arrive for the wedding?

Answer

Please arrive at 4:30 PM to be seated in time for the ceremony. The wedding processional will begin promptly at 5:00 PM.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is black tie optional with a summer flare! For gentlemen this can include a snazzy jacket, suit, or tux. For ladies a fancy cocktail dress, pant-suit, or floor length gown is welcome. Bright bold colors are encouraged and don’t be afraid to look fabulous!!

Can I bring a guest/date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Your guest's name will appear with yours when you go to RSVP.

Is there parking at the Glidden House?

Answer

Yes, complimentary valet parking will be provided.

What is the best way to get from the Marriott Courtyard to the Glidden House for the Wedding Ceremony?

Answer

The Glidden House is an easy walk from the Courtyard but there will also be bussing available! A 22-passenger bus from Lake Erie Limo will run back and forth from 4:10 - 4:40 PM to take guests to the Glidden House. Please note there is also a different public shuttle bus that picks up hotel guests to go to various locations in University Circle (including the Glidden House) so please allocate additional time if you choose to take the public bus. If walking, the Marriott Courtyard is only 0.3 miles from the Glidden House (approx. 8 minute walk). Uber and Lyft are also good options in the area.

How do I get back to the Marriott Courtyard from the Glidden House?

Answer

A 14 passenger bus has been reserved to run from 10pm-Midnight between the Glidden House and the Marriott Courtyard. The reception ends at 11pm.

Are there hotel rooms available at the Glidden House?

Answer

There are a very limited number of rooms available at the Glidden House venue, mostly reserved by the Wedding Party. You are welcome to check for available rooms under the Moore/Wallace Wedding block.
