Meet our family and friends who are walking down the aisle with us!

Selena Xue

Maid of Honor

Selena and Helen have been inseparable since middle school. Their friendship began on a school bus when Helen noticed Selena reading Rainbow Magic, a beloved book series. Sitting down beside her sparked a conversation, and from that moment on, their bond was set. Selena and Helen share an unbreakable bond, more like soulmates than just best friends. Their connection is effortless, as if they were always meant to find each other.

Emily Zhong

Bridesmaid

Emily was born nine years after Helen, but despite the age gap, she’s more than just a younger sister, she’s Helen’s greatest supporter. Whether they’re catching the latest movie, grabbing Chick-fil-A, or training for a future half marathon, they’re always making time for each other. No matter what, Helen knows she can always count on Emily, just as Emily can always count on her.

Stacy Lee

Bridesmaid

Stacy is Nam's younger sister, but over the years, she’s become like a sister to Helen too. She’s been there since the very beginning of Helen and Nam’s relationship, and their bond has only grown through shared experiences especially their mutual love for photography. Stacy and Helen enjoy playing board games with family, watching girly TV shows and movies, and giving each other photoshoots. She’ll always be Helen's go-to second shooter for any wedding inquiries!

Haylee Nguyen

Bridesmaid

Haylee has been one of Helen’s best friends since middle school. They made countless memories together in both middle and high school band, and Haylee has been by Helen’s side through it all. From teaching Helen how to swim, to introducing her to Star Wars, Harry Potter, and American cuisine, Haylee has played a big role in Helen’s life. After all these years, Helen is incredibly grateful for her unwavering support.

Heather Everhart

Bridesmaid

Heather and Helen have been friends since middle school, often finding themselves sitting by the bleachers instead of participating in PE, creating memories long before they even realized it. They also started their first jobs together, and though life has taken them in different directions, they make it a priority to see each other. Their friendship remains strong, no matter the distance.

Joey Vong

Bridesmaid

Joey and Helen have been lifelong friends, sharing countless memories from childhood through college. They tackled classes together, breaking beakers in organic chemistry, goofing off in Chinese class, and singing karaoke. Helen knows she wouldn’t have made it without Joey, who always has her back no matter what.

Bri Vo

Bridesmaid

Bri and Helen met during their first year of college. Bri is the most laid-back person, while Helen is Type A, but somehow, they always manage to make the best memories together. Whether it's exploring a new coffee shop or hunting for unique finds while thrifting, Bri is always up for an adventure.

Gheena Santha

Bridesmaid

Gheena and Helen met in optometry school and instantly connected with an infectious, high-energy dynamic. Gheena is the kind of friend who can make Helen laugh until her stomach hurts, and their bond is built on unwavering support and care. They are always sharing good food, watching movies, or being the goofiest ones at a party, or even in class!

Jerbrea Powell

Bridesmaid

Jerbrea and Helen met in optometry school, and their friendship often feels like they’re starring in their own show. Jerbrea is always up for trying new food spots with Helen, while Helen frequently invites herself over to Jerbrea’s apartment. Their bond is effortless. They are constantly on the same wavelength, making every moment together fun and easygoing. They can often be found making silly videos together or grabbing a meal at Panda Garden.

Nguyen Le

Best Man

Nguyen is four years younger than Nam but has been there for every big moment, from immigrating to the U.S. together to welcoming their siblings Stacy and Elden. More than just a younger brother, Nguyen has been Nam’s constant, his companion, steady support, and a reminder of where he came from and who has always been by his side.

Elden Gillard III

Groomsman

Elden is 17 years younger than Nam, which has given Nam the special privilege of watching his baby brother grow into the intelligent, kind, and curious young man he is today. From the earliest days of holding him as a newborn to cheering him on at school events, Nam has cherished every moment. Having Elden as his junior groomsman is a full-circle moment and a reminder of the deep bond they share as brothers.

Kyle Koenig

Groomsman

Kyle and Nam’s friendship started in the most unlikely place, a small town called Dickson, TN. Despite their different backgrounds, they quickly became inseparable, spending summers swimming, autumn nights around bonfires, and countless weekends playing video games in the basement. What began as shared bus rides grew into a friendship filled with inside jokes, late-night adventures, and years of cherished memories.

Daniel Sims

Groomsman

Daniel and Nam moved to Dickson, TN the same year and quickly bonded as new kids at school. They met on the bus ride home, living just five minutes apart. The Sims family welcomed Nam as one of their own, while Daniel became a regular in Mrs. Christina’s kitchen, sampling Vietnamese dishes and helping with chores. Their childhoods were filled with shared meals, weekend hangouts, and the kind of friendship that made growing up feel a little less lonely.

Taylor Stogner

Groomsman

Taylor has known Nam since fourth grade, marking 19 years of friendship. From sleepovers and middle school band to all-night gaming sessions, they’ve shared countless memories. Through every high and low, they’ve stayed close, always just a phone call away no matter where life takes them.

Phillip Phan

Groomsman

Phillip met Nam on the first day of college, and the two quickly became inseparable. They pursued the same degree, took the same classes, and survived many late nights at Hodge’s library and just as many at college parties. Through it all, they kept each other grounded and supported one another through the highs and lows of those four years.

Nick Chaudhari

Groomsman

Nick was there with Nam from day one as they both took the big step of leaving home through late-night trips to the dining hall, early classes, and grocery runs. Sharing an apartment, they learned not just how to cook and clean but how to support and care for each other. In those early, uncertain years, Nick was more than a friend; he was a steady presence who helped make a new place feel like home and made growing up a little gentler.

Clark Bailey

Groomsman

Clark lived in the same apartment complex as Nam during medical school. Being in the same apartment meant carpooling everywhere together, being trapped in the Memphis snowstorm together, and running to each other’s apartment for milk and eggs. From classmate, to neighbor, to close friend, Clark was always there for Nam. Even after moving away from one another, they kept in touch and supported each other through the rest of medical school. And after graduation, Nam knows their friendship will last a lifetime.

Nicholas Behymer

Groomsman

Nick and Nam met in their first year of medical school, paired for group projects and anatomy lab. They spent countless hours together, dissecting in lab, hopping Memphis coffee shops, playing board games, and relaxing by Nick’s bonfire. Sharing the challenges of med school with an incredible colleague was a privilege, but gaining a lifelong friend was the greatest gift.

Zaine Lin

Ring Bearer

Nam is proud to have his cousin, Zaine, as his ring bearer. Zaine is Nam's youngest cousin and the most charming little boy ever. Even though he's the youngest, he carries himself with so much sweetness that it's impossible not to smile when he's around. Having Zaine walk down the aisle is not just adorable, it’s deeply meaningful.

Zoey Lin

Flower Girl

Nam is proud to have his cousin, Zoey, as his flower girl. Zoey is a burst of energy, always dancing, laughing, and lighting up every room she enters. Her vibrant spirit and infectious joy make every moment with her unforgettable. She’s full of personality, always keeping everyone on their toes in the best way. Nam has a soft spot for her, and having her walk down the aisle means the world to him.

Zara Lin

Flower Girl

Nam is proud to have his cousin, Zara, as part of his special day. Her bright smile and bubbly personality shine through in everything she does, lighting up any space she’s in. Whether she’s making someone laugh or offering a kind word, Zara brings warmth and joy wherever she goes. Nam feels lucky to share this moment with someone as special as her.

Hani Hong

Flower Girl

Nam is proud to have his cousin, Hani, as his flower girl. Nam and Helen share a special bond with Hani, which makes this moment even more meaningful especially after living with her this past year. She’s the heart of the home, always greeting them after a long day with the sweetest smile and a giggle that instantly lifts their spirits. Hani’s playful nature is matched by a surprising maturity for her age. She’ll keep you laughing one moment and amaze you with her thoughtfulness the next. Having her walk down the aisle is a memory they’ll always cherish.

AJ Pearl

Officiant

Helen met AJ in optometry school, but despite being her classmate, Nam also shares a close bond with AJ. AJ is the kind of friend who offers thoughtful advice, quiet strength, and unwavering support. He’s the person you can count on when you need a shoulder to lean on or someone to cheer you on as you chase your dreams. AJ and his wife, Zoe-Ella, are a beautiful example of love and partnership, showing what a strong and supportive marriage truly looks like. There’s truly no one better suited for this role than AJ.
